    Hydroxychloroquine recurrent miscarriage

sso-checked=true I'm six weeks pregnant and jumped in this convo because I had just read a study where in some t ypes of APA's, Lovenox and Bany Aspirin are not enough. If we can't afford IVIG and insurance (of course) will not cover it, would Plaquenil be beneficial as well for those specific antibodies? I was borderline positive on a few and positive for one of the Lupus anticoagulants.

Introduction Recurrent miscarriage RM, defined by three or more consecutive losses during the first trimester of pregnancy, affects 1%–2% of fertile couples. Standard investigations fail to reveal any apparent cause in ~50% of couples. However, on the basis of animal models and clinical studies, several hypotheses have been put forward concerning underlying mechanisms of RM altered. About 10-15% of women with recurrent miscarriage are diagnosed with antiphospholipid syndrome 71, 72. Fetal loss ≥10 weeks of gestation is more strongly associated with aPL than are earlier pregnancy losses. Lupus anticoagulant has been strongly associated with recurrent miscarriage before the 24th week of gestation. He anyone been prescribed or taken hydroxychloroquine or plaquenil? It's been used for recurrent miscarriage and immune issues. I am taking it as well as intralipids to see if it helps but I wonder if it as effective at lowering immunes

I would be very suspect for anti paternal HLA antibodies here which are not necessarily 'auto" abs, and IVIG and lovenox and prednisone would be the best treatments. First I can make no recommendations without a thorough history and evaluation of your case.

Jan 17, 2014 A woman who suffered 20 miscarriages over 10 years, has had a baby boy after being given a drug normally used to treat malaria and rheumatoid arthritis. Kelly Moseley, from Birmingham, endured 11 miscarriages each at about eight weeks before she contacted a miscarriage expert she had seen on. I was on the programme for my last pregnancy but that ended in a missed miscarriage at 7 weeks. Mr s added hydroxychloroquin this time and I did his super ovulation programme- got pregnant 2nd cycle and am almost 12 weeks now with twins. Terrified everyday but after 3 early miscarriages this is the furthest I've ever got. My recurrent miscarriage consultant is keen for the hydroxychloroquine and my IVF clinic advises the prednisolone.already taken the prednisolone while pregnant and still had a miscarriage so keen for something more. Will also have clexane this time as well as aspirin.
