    Please tell me about your swollen ankles/calves. Plaquenil can cause edema in the feet and legs. One of the warnings says to contact your doctor if you develop swelling/edema in the feet and legs. I had a medication cause me to retain fluid and I gained 6.5 pounds in 2 days. All of it was in my legs and feet.
